Kathy
THE WORK OF KATHY I met Kathy years ago when she was referred by a friend to clean my house. I learned that Kathy has been making art all her life, "I started making art when I was 3 years old, says Kathy and minored in art in college." When she lived in New York City in 1967, she would go to the Museum of Modern Art and sit before Picasso's "Guernica" for hours, knowing sadly that it would be sent to Spain when the dictator there died. "I was lucky to be able to see it," she reminisces. Kathy loves the Art Not Walmart group at Art Queen and the support she feels from the group. "We're having so much fun, the fun police are gonna come and get us all."
