"This artist, Keith Ward, did illustration work such as Elmer for the Borden made glue, Dalmatian dogs for Texaco, etc. Baby boomers especially might remember his pictures of Dick and Jane from the early readers, or Wards beautifully executed images of horses, and the images he prepared to illustrate the book with the treasured Christmas poem, 'twas the night before Christmas. He also did work which appeared in the magazines Outdoor Life and Boys Life."
